Is there life after death?

Sure. I'd consider the following as some of life's spiritual mysteries:
Why does evil exist? Where is God when we most need help? Why do we act like our mind thinks for us instead of us using our mind to think from a higher level (so to speak)? Why does it seem sometimes like circumstances or life conspire to make certain things happen? Why do Western religions lead to people adopting a herd mentality? (It may be true of Eastern too, but I'm familiar with Western) Why does it seem like souls reincarnate? What is the soul and does each individual have its own? How can one accomplish spiritual enlightenment (and what is it anyway)? Sorry for the question format but I guess part of the mysteries is that there are many questions that don't seem to have answers...or at least easy answers...

how does the planet go round the sun causing day & night ? how so many trees & plants grow in the forest without anybody looking after it ? how such wild tigers & lions look at their young ones so lovingly & handle them so softly & fondly ? how each & every child looks beautiful & we enjoy their play even though all the babies do the samething ?how a mother loves her child even if the child is as ugly as possible ? for a mother her child is the best in the world .how ?why do u feel so happy when u see the first rays of sun in the morning ? why do u feel fresh when u smell the first showers ?to name a few. i can go on & on & on. these examples are all happenings of our daily life we do see them everyday. every human being whether he is rich or poor will experience.these are all the gift of nature to the mankind. don't u think these are spiritual mysteries of our life ?

I think one of lifes greates spiritual mysteries is that those with faith always seem to find a way to keep that faith even in the hardest of times and those with out faith can never seem to find answers to questions that are always present in there mind.. Is there a god? Where did he come from? Why is there such suffering in the world?
All these questions circle there mind, but a spiritual person either does not think about it or says its gods will.

The biggest mystery is, have those without faith been forsaken by god or have those with faith blinded themselves to the truth about life.

There are not any spiritual mysteries except in the minds of various controlling church bigwigs. Its all hype. Any ones guess is as good as yours as to "where we come from" and "the purpose of life." Just be patient and kind to others and with yourself and don't worry your head about the rest. Hopefully when you die you will leave more good than bad behind you. That's the very best that any of us can do!

a more important one is: am i more than this obvious physical body, and, if so, what more is there to me? another: my mind is always so busy, and is really driving me crazy, is there anything i can do about it without doing drugs, etc? another: when i was really young i felt so connected to everything, where did that connection go? for answers you might try, instead of fundamentalist TALK, that which provides actual EXPERIENCE. check out meditation, esoteric "religions", "energy work" like yoga, reiki, chi kung, tai chi, etc. good luck. also see www.sahajayoga.com for an interesting "energy experience" on line.

Our Thought:Often things turn out to be otherwise than what we thought of them.
Love: It comes and it goes. It seems we have no control over it.
War: Somehow people find out reasons to go on a war, and don't see any reason to not fight.
