I expect some heated argument on this one.

Ortiz...he is the most feared hitter in the game. More feared than Bonds, more feared than Pujols, more feared than anybody.

The DH argument isn't valid here. Ortiz is not Edgar Martinez, who couldn't field a ground ball if his life depended on it. Ortiz is actually an underrated defensive first baseman, and he'd be playing first every day it wasn't for Youkilis.

I hate saying this because I am a Yankee fan... David Ortiz without question should be. I know that he only hits and doesn’t help defensively... but it's pretty damn valuable when you are the most clutch hitter in the game. How many games has Ortiz won from his walk offs alone?

The guy is going to end up with over 50 H.R.s and 140-150 R.B.I.s

The Big fatty doesn't play half the game. All he does is sit there, eat and get fat. Yes he is a fantastic clutch hitter, but he saves 0 runs in the field. He is only half a baseball player and half a baseball player is not more valuable than a whole baseball player no matter how clutch he is. I really hope Morneau catches him in RBI and the Twins make the play offs so there is no doubt who the mvp is. One reason big fatty is so clutch is that he has one of the absolute best rbi men in the league hitting behind him. Don't forget that.

My MVP: Morneau of the twinkies

Either David Ortiz OR Jonathan Paplebon. Both are having GREAT years, and either one deserves the honor at this point. My personal favorite would be Big Papi!!

Chow!!
