I have only watched that able to happen in a work relationship, professional relationship where emotions were left outside the door..I think left alone long enough with one an other human nature always kicks in..I also believe age does have a bearing on emotion attitude through experience, and mental maturity...You do know that with our now day Viagra it's allowing over 40 emotions to change, and the baby boomers were never prudes where they?

Absolutely. This might be a good thing as well depending on the age difference between the two. It is always easier to be friends without any sexual tension - but if there is a lot of sexual thoughts toward that person, it might not work out as well as you think. Best to just not think of the other person in any sexual way, that way the friendship will be real. I've had several friends of the opposite sex and sometimes it's really great getting another point of view from the other sex.

Yes, I think so. I have many guy friends with whom I have a platonic relationship. They consider me more of like a sister than anything else. So yes, it is possible. Depends on the man and woman.
