Me and my sister are arriving in Mexico City next week about 3 hours before the rest of our family. We've never been there before and don't speak any spanish. I've been looking for a good map of the airport and havn't found anything I could really use. So I figured I'd try this. Any help in this is much appreciated.
Thanks.

You should go to Angus Restaurant. It´s a steak house, with southwest decoration. Steaks are great, as well as the waitresses and the atmosphere. It is located at the end of the international terminal, towards the domestic terminal.

You can go to both the Bar and the Food Court inside the Airport. There is a hotel right next to it and you can cross it by the bridge...but that would take you out of reach of your family, so it´s better that you kill time at the Bar.

There are plenty of Information booths with bilingual staff, so in case you get lost, don´t panic and look for these things or staffers, they will assist you with anything you need, remember that Mexican people are very friendly.

Good luck and good trip!

My girlfriend and I got there a couple of hours before our friend last year, so we hot footed to the bar that is right next to the arrivals gate, so we could keep an eye out for her whilst enjoying some ice cold coronas. Muy bien! :) Its right on the metro, so you could go somewhere else in that time, but I guess you probably dont. So the beer advice is the best Ive got :)

There is a lot of places in the airport to eat & drink. Wonder around and find what you want. If you want to leave the airport, you can find a taxi with a driver that speaks English and have him drive you aound the city to see the highlights. Depends on what you want to do, eat or drink.

i do no longer understand approximately New Mexico, Santa Fe. i haven't heard of it. i assume you mean Santa Fe, New Mexico. sure it fairly is an exceedingly risk-free place to circulate. There are a lot to do there. this is the oldest capital interior the entire continental usa. Santa Fe has distinctive new agers, distinctive paintings galleries, and an opera scene. i became into there 3 years in the past, and that i enjoyed it. yet another cool place to circulate to is Taos.

There's a nice casual restaurant called "Wings" inside the terminal. (It's upstairs). It's kinda like an upscale Denny's. You could order some coffee or drinks and have a nice leisurly meal up there. If I remember correctly, the menu has pictures....anyway, they're used to foreign visitors and you won't have any trouble ordering.

The bar that the first guy is talking about is called Freedom.. is kind of a TGI's Friday.. it´s nice.. right on the exit of the international flights and you can keep and eye on your family. Tell them to meet you there.. it´s on the right side when they exit customs.

I would recommend to stay inside, because outside of it, it's not safe , just go to the Food Court or Wings, have a beer, relax. but stay inside.
