It depends on whether your achievement is temporary. A sense of achievement from finishing a project before its deadline would be pretty temporary, but the sense of achievement from, say, producing offspring would be with you for a long time.

Yes absolutely. As long as there is breath in the humanbody, urge to achive something further will arises. No one can stop it. If you belive that whatever is happening is okay and there is nothing to achieve or loosing then only you can get rid of achieving something and peace prevail for permanent.
