I don't know about Canada, but the U.S. government has its Occupational Outlook Handbook online. Check it out. Click on "Search box" on the main page, then type in "dentistry". You can use the site for a bunch of different occupations.

the market is there: aging demographics etc. etc. the real answer lies in the specilization you wish to provide: cosmetic dentistry: we are a vain society and it has a niche marekt. Facial reconstruction is another must have. denture for kids: not much growth unless you specilise in immigrant populated areas (that is where is kids are born at a faster rate)

It's like garbage collection and funeral homes. There will always be a need for this occupation.

i guess it is good as long as there is people and people eat and get there teeth dirty and get cavities it will be good outlook
