I would immediately say UHF. However, since you are not giving any information about it, it's tough to say. He has been in several movies, but since you said star, it's probably UHF
Not to mention, if it was just on TV (I think UPN) then most definitely it was UHF

I would venture a guess that it would be UHF where a local public station gets a new owner played by Weird Al. The station becomes a hit, with all sorts of hilarious site gags and wacky humor.
