Why are people so quick to throw out info thats misinformed?

Because so many people are misinformed. Folks answer with what they think is the right answer. That's why it's so important to take everything here with a grain of salt.

I totally agree with the first answer.And to be honest people may give answers that they think are correct even though they may be incorrrect.

You are right. We should embrace such outright incorrect information. I mean, just because it's false, doesn't mean it's wrong.
