If you do play, do you play the scratch tickets or pick numbers for the drawings (or both)? How often do you play and how much do you spend each time? If you pick numbers for the drawings, do you have certain numbers you choose each time (if so, what is their significance?)?

If there is a lottery in the state/country you live in and you're old enough to play but don't, why don't you?

I live in TN and we just got the lottery here a few years ago. I rarely play. The jackpot for tonight's drawing is around $200 million, so I spent about $10 on it this morning with a friend's encouragement. I typically only play when the jackpot is way up there (like it is now), not like other jackpots of 10 million wouldn't be plenty, though!!

Wow, those are a lot of questions, but I play lottery once in a blue moon. Only because it is not on the top of my list of priorities so i forget. I am old enough to play, i usually play the mega millions...i live in NYC. Also, since there's a low percentage of winning, i dont bother that much. What about you? do you play?

To be honest you have a better chance to be stuck by lighting over 100 times before you will the lottery. I saw it on 20/20 a few weeks ago. Its like 7 million to one for every chance you play. I'm talking about the number one where they draw the balls and use those numbers. There are designed for the state to make more money. I still spend 2 dollars on it every once in a while, but to blow 20, or 50 is ridicules.

I play every once in a while, usually around holidays or whenever I have a few dollars to blow. I play the scract off tickets because it's been a tradition in my family to give those and gifts and scratch them with your family.

I don't play. The odds are so wide that it's a waste of my money. I work too hard for it.
