My in-laws payed my morgage for 4 years . I payed them back 56,000.00 from the sale of my home but It was'nt enough they conviced my mother to sue me to for a 10,000.00 for a gift she gave me 6yrs earlier I lost both cases . Now the'll never see there grand kids agian .What would you do?

you've paid them back. they came after you, and not him. take the kids with you and go as far as possible, and get child support.

sounds real bad . But you must understand one thing . The kids had nothing to do with the hole thing and if they ask to see there grandparents they should. Now about the lawsuit that was way wrong of them to do . And your mom should have taken your side on this. But why did they have to pay for 4 yrs . If you could not deal with the house you should have sold it a lone time ago . If your husband has such a bad habit u should have let that go a long time ago . that is not good for you or your kids.Give him an altamadem it's you and the kids or the druggs .
i know about that eddiction my mom was on that and she lost us all . You dont want that . and my husband was a user and i told him that if i ever even thuoght he was using that i would be gone so fast his head would spin . You have to decide to let go . And eventually you will need to forgive evryone else becouse living with hate in your heart only brings bad things .

It's a shame that the kids have to suffer. Adults are always putting there ingnorance and selfish needs before the kids. It's not fair. Talk to your children and see what they want. Put them first and everything will fall into place right. As for the court stuff we are in times of the end and it is said dauughter against mother son against father. These are things that are already predicted and acted out by adults. Good luck and love you kids and think of them and what they feel with out the adult crap.

1. Get rid of the addict husband NOW! Crack/heroin addicts do NOT usually recover EVER.
2. If you're using drugs, STOP. Using drugs is a great way to lose your life and your kids.
3. Make a life for yourself and you children that is healthy, safe and sane. AFTERWORDS, re-approach your mother and try to make a relationship with her. You only get one real mother in this life, and your kids could use a good grandmother.

Move on......life is to short to be miserable, pay the court whatever the payments are and they'll get their money and be happy.
You shouldn't block the kids out of their lives either, it's not good for them or your children.
But set up a time and a place you can drop them off to see their grandparents, you don't have to talk to them, but do not block them out of your childrens lives. It is unfair to the kids.

Just move on. Put one foot in front of the other. You're still young, start over and build a life without them. Maybe someday you'll feel the need to forgive, but for now I'd just get on with my life.

You are all screwed up royally........so what more is there to say????? I feel sorry for the grandkids who will probably turn out as screwed up as everyone else. People like you just pass it from one generation to the next since no one is smart enough to break the chain of dysfunction!!!
