Who runs the world and why do we let them?

Question

Please don't answer with the Jews , they may make up a percentage but thats it. The Orangemen and Protestants were acused of running Canada in the 50's and they did but my family never saw any of that action so name names not groups unless the group is a company then it's fair game.
They say 80% of the wealth is owned by 20% of the people ...who are they and why did we give it to them.
They say that the elite pull the political strings and the Presidents and Prime Ministers are somly mid management so again who are they and why do we listen to them?
The wealth of any community or country is in the people who produce the products and yet we are consistanly paid 1/10 of the worth of the product we manufacture - why do we allow that to happen?

Who are these people and why doesn't anyone seriously go looking for them ? I can't help but conclude that it is the fault of the 80% not the 20 because throughout history this class has existed and we let this happen insisted on it.

The Walmart invaion of Canada has already begun -and get this they say in thier ads "it proudly Cdn"?
Mind you so does AT@T McDonalds and so forth - the only ones I know of that don't play this angle is GM "Yep American got a problem?" But at least they make no appempt to lie to us (I drive a GM truck)

Thats the $64,000.00 question
No one has lead any charges for a good "witch hunt" as of late.

But more and more people are waking up to an idea that there are shadow governments making decisions and pulling strings effecting the outcome of events and starting wars etc.
In my opinion once the masses really are awake - it will be too late

The Walton family runs the world. They are a family of 5 each worth over 20 billion a piece and each listed within the top 10 wealthiest persons in the world. Btw, they also own walmart.

They are known to basically control and dictate to politicians what the trade/tariffs will between us and China. It has also been rumored they were behind the big wave of global free trade agreements.

Btw, your statistics are a little outdated. I heard the new ones last week on PBS. It is now: 10% owns 95% of the wealth in this country. I think the big 90s stock market was responsible for this increase because ppl with lots of money to invest got richer.

PS, Frontline did a series on some of their business practices (I think it was about 1.5 years ago), they are also getting away with violating monopoly laws but no one will stop such a powerful force.... won't dare charge them here in the states.

The irony is that other countries have charged them with this.. all cases are still in the courts. The last one I heard of was in Mexico and I think they keep them tied up in the courts for so long that ppl forget about them.

Beachbum, methinks the conspiracy theories have got to you..so their the worlds wealthiest family, they still aint the Security Council or the OPEC syndicate.

Their isnt one 'leader' as such, diffferent areas have different demi-gods.

For Example.
The America's have Bush and the American administration, NAFTA and things such as the WTO
Europe has the Council of Ministers, who run the European Union
The Middle East has OPEC

and so on, and so on

At the moment, OPEC is the most politically powerful group in the world. American has the guns and ship and planes. OPEC has the Oil.
