Fan in the stands, we don't have to excercise, we can make up our own cheers, and we get food

I'd rather be a fan in the stands. Main reason being, then I could watch the game AND the cheerleaders!

if you are already a cheerleader you are a fan as well and when taking a break the cheerleaders are sitting in the stands!

Depends on the sport, the cheerleaders, the outfits of the cheerleaders, the necessity of cheerleaders at that particular sport, etc.
