i have a amd athlon processor on a sis 730 motherboard,i am using a radeon 9250 pci-bus graphic card,so i have disabled the sis onboard graphics
what i need to know,do i have to download and install the chipset drivers for this board allthough i am using a different graphic device, because sis also have audio and ethernet devices on the board
the computer is working ok at he moment, but i have been having a few network problems,is that due to the sis ethernet device not having the chipset drivers installed
any ideas

Just install the SIS chipset drivers. Don't worry about the unused on-board graphics board.

If you are looking for an update, check the SIS website

If you don't have any luck, try http://www.driverguide.com/

Good luck

check device manager and make sure you do not have any conflicts with your hardware. If anything is yellow, that means there is a problem. And yes, make sure you have all your driver updates. The driver updates allows for your hardware to talk to each other the RIGHT WAY.
