Hollister Co. is the greatest store ever...in my opinion! They have the cutest clothes and they fit so well. And I hate it when people say that they only have clothes for skinny people...because that is totally not true! They have jeans up to size 11 and shirts up to XL! If you don't like...fine. You don't have to it's your opinion! But that doesn't mean that you should make up lies about people who do love it and work there! And when people say it's too expensive...thats so not true. Their clothes are the same prices as pac sun and american eagle...and in my opinion hollister clothes are better quality! And I love the music they play...the dim lighting...and how the store smells! (They spray the JAKE colonge all over the store everyday! Thats why it smells so good!!) And I just love the overall apperance of it! It makes you feel like you are really shopping in California!
So tell me how much you love Hollister! Maybe alot maybe not at all. It's your opinion...write it down!

After reading some of your answeres, I have few more things I would like to say!
When people say that Hollister associates pay more attention to the people that are preppy...than the people that gothic, that is probably more true. Because the people that are wearing more preppy or Hollister styled clothing are more likely to buy their clothes than the people that are wearing all black clothes or something like that! So they are probably going to assist the preppy people more beacause they take them as a more serious customer. And in case you havent noticed all the people that work in Hollister are preppy, so the people that dress preppy are probably going to appeal more to them. And who ever thinks that wal-mart clothing and Hollister clothing are same quailty, doesn't know a thing about Hollister clothes! And Hollister is so not over priced. They are the same price as all the other teen stores in the mall. Like american eagle and pac sun. So check your facts before you answere.

Hollister is only appealing to materialistic people who believe that status is based on capitol and that by purchasing such clothing one attains a level of social status because we unfortunately live in a capitolistic society that believes that getting a pair of torn pants for $70 at hollister is far superior to spending $2 at the salvation army for pants that look remarkably similar. Personally I dislike the clothing, the store is very dimly lit, and while doing a people study for a personal project on the factors which dictate how certain individuals get treated it was found that the associates serve the people who tend to appear mainstream or preppy with a better attitude than a person who appears to be gothic or a metal fan. It seems as though they do discriminate against subcultures but it may just be human nature, our study is far from being conclusive yet.
Personally though the clothing looks awful, and is very over priced and low quality. As compaired to department stores like walmart the stitching quality and quality of the materials used to make the clothing is of equal quality and much higher priced.
Because you chose to respond to me I will respond to you. I am a seamstress among other things and have checked out the fabric quality and stitching quality at many stores and actually they are fairly similar between all of the stores. Yes they are over priced, compairing them to other teenage prep stores does not mean that they are reasonably priced it means that they conform to the precidents set by other stores to charge outrageous prices for items of clothing that cost about $5 to manufacture. Also they do discriminate customers based on appearance, and though it may be that the customer may have a higher chance of purchasing something from the store, I worked in retail before, and all customers are equal and should be treated with the same dignety and asistance as everyone else because its a product the associates are pushing not a specfic agenda like making everyone look alike or selectively selling so that only pretty people or ones who they think will look good in the clothing get sold the items.
Oh and as a test for the quality of the products i actually bought a shirt there and it wore out fairly quickly, I only got about a years worth of wear out of it. As opposed to other stores where i can get atleast 5 years of wear out of the clothing

O Hollister..... O Hollister....I love you so much! Its just the greatest store in the mall. I have so much stuff from hollister its not funny. Their jeans fit so well and are so cute. and yea its true its not just for us skinny people i have seen huge size 11 pants too and they have XL shirts too. Hollister is not expensive its actually cheap and is a great quality! I dont know what i can do with out a hollister store near me. Hollister is just plain Love!

I don't. But it's because my 2 girls do! So much so that my oldest was asked to work there. I could definitely use the discount!
