as they have not made any dent in hizbullah, is a ceasefire a way out for ISRAEL, will they leave there with their tails stuck firmly between their legs

Your question seems fair, but your logic does not match what is happening, nor the recent history of Israel since 1948.
In all of their conflicts since 1948 Israel has not been defeated. In fact, Israel is not usually known for starting wars or starting cease fires. But the Arabs who start the wars usually want the cease fires. As Israel has been moving through Lebanon at will, I would not imagine that they are the least bit worried. Correctly, Hezbollah is the one who has the tail between their legs while Israel has been pounding them into the ground. Just watch the news; you have got it backwards.

A cease fire will be detrimental to Israel. Israel should be allowed to go all out and finish off the Hezbollah. They have the power and the ability to do that. If other nations just quit bitching. The reason why people think that Israel has not made a dent on Hezbollah was because they make a very big deal on collateral damage such as in Qana. How about collateral damage done by the Hezbollah on Israeli cities like Haifa?

I'm sure Israel wants a ceasefire more than Lebanon does, because it is the very first time Israel has been targeted in the heart, people of Israel are used to killing and going to war outside their land, it is the first time they see how life is for the Lebanese and people of Gaza every single day of their life, while the Lebanese are used to this, they were in war for a long time, another one is not a lot to them, they lost so many people during the wars it became so natural, while Israel came as a shock to them.

No. If the Arab nations don't find an excuse to have a shooting war, then Israel will find an excuse. Neither side wants a ceasefire. Both sides are warmongers and both sides are totally and completely without honor

You wish. Take a look at the kill ratios for this conflict and tell me the terrorists aren't getting their azzes handed to them on a platter.

At least Israel has the balls to do what America seems incapable of doing, that is killing terrorists. There will be no peace in the Middle East (or the world, for that matter) until every terrorist is exterminated.

Not if the Lebanese government cracks down on Hezbollah. The French have written a proposal that is not calling for a cease fire unless Hezbollah backs off. Let's wait and see what happens.

Hahahaha lol, that was funny, I didnt know bizarro world existed, listen just because hezbollah doesnt believe in hygeine doesnt give you the right to tease them....Since in reality hezbollah has been pushed back and its been given enough room for a true international force to move in, then they will victoriously help lebanon as will the international community and clean up......
