Well for starters Andrew Jackson co-founded the Democratic Party. More importantly Andrew Jackson's platform epitomized democracy becuase 1) he wanted all white males to have the right to vote instead of giving the right to vote only to white men who owned property 2) and he believed in laizze-faire economics which is what capitalism is based off of.

Funny. I always thought Thomas Jefferson was given the credit for founding the Democrat Party. Have I been wrong all these years??
