Believe me, I can relate. That depends on how you view failure. What are you living for? If you're "failing" to live up to the world's idea of what you should be, that's not failure. That's good news. It means the formula doesn't work for you, because you're an individual, created with individual dreams and desires that point the way to your destiny. I'm not being wishy-washy here. This is my journey too.
What are your dreams? Desire reveals design, design reveals destiny. Don't ask yourself what the world needs, ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
I'm no spiritual master, but i do know that God created each of us with a purpose. That purpose is linked to the desires of your heart. if performance and trying to "match up" have driven you far from your heart, and caused you to bury your dreams, maybe it's time to dig them up again. Ask God to show you what they are.Ask Him to teach you who you really are, (after all, He made you) and you will know that you're not a failure.

First, define "everything." If your goals are lofty (i.e. complete 2 marathons this month, paint something that gets hung in the Lourve, etc.) then it sure will look like you're failing a lot. Second, figure out what you actually want to do. Write a novel? Read a novel? Start jogging and eating healthy? Pick measurable goals that have embedded benchmarks. Seeing results will help keep you motivated.
Don't forget to rely on your friends for support. That's why they're your friends. If they are incapable of helping anyone but themselves, then find new friends.

First of all, you are not failing at everything. You eat, sleep, breathe, and move around just fine, don't you? Change your focus and look to see what you are successful at. Remember, nobody is perfect, so why should you be? Baby steps. That's the key.

Sometimes to find great success in life you have to fail at thousand other things so that you can finally pick the one thing that you wouldn’t have picked up in life otherwise, as it has the maximum risk - your life’s calling.
Imagine if you had tasted any kind of success early in life, you would have never left your success to follow your heart, but when you already think of yourself as a failure then you would readily pick up your life’s calling, as you would think you have nothing to loose, and that is when all the magic happens!
Life has strange ways of taking us to our destiny.
A success is a success, if you are following your life's calling; otherwise you are a failure no matter how much money you might be making. Failure to follow your life's calling is greatest failure in life, for that you might have to come back. So professional success or failure hardly matters to a soul, as if you are following life's purpose you are already a success, whether or not world sees you that way or not, because within you will feel like one.
First check out your inner beliefs, do you somewhere believe that - You are a failure?
If so, then no matter how hard you try you will only create what you already believe about yourself.
Change your belief and you have already changed your future.
Also check whether you are following your life's calling, some times life blocks our paths so that we sit still for once and listen to its callings.
It is better to find your path than becoming a great success in something that goes again your grain. You are lucky that way, it wont be tuff for you to start afresh as so many people get stuck into wrong careers in life, and then get sucked into it.
Above all, the important thing in life is not what you do but how you behave when you do it, are you happy and joyous? So if you are happy, joyous doing anything insignificant you are following your life's purpose which is to learn how to be better, and not do better, you are here to learn and not earn.
You might become Ted Turner or someone, one day, but if you still haven't learned how to live, you haven't learnt how to be successful, as living a fulfilled life is a being a success.
Your life's path is not a career that is just a small part of it; always remember that how you are doing, is more worthy of your attention than what are you doing? Are you enjoying life or are you being ‘successful’?
The question is, do you want to do it right or do you want to enjoy while you do it. It is same like when you want your child to paint the right way of to discover the joy of painting. Discover what gives you joy in life, money with automatically come when you do something that uplifts you, enrich you every moment. Because what enriches your soul will keep your pocket enriched and overflowing with abundance. As you are already experiencing abundance in spirit.
True abundance is abundance in joy and giving, as when you give more you get more.
The most important thing is not how you are doing but how you are being, because being governs you mental state as well as your spirit and if you are in high spirits you will automatically find joy and success in life.
Follow your heart it will lead you to greater success in life and not your ego ambitions as they will lead you to just more money and not fulfillment of life that comes from following your life’s path, your soul mission here.
Are you focused on your being or on your doing, because if you are focused on your doing than no matter how successful you get in life, you will not learn to be better. Haven’t you noticed so many people who become billionaires and still lead empty lives which they have to fill with ostentatious display of wealth? Money can't buy you love, it certainly can’t buy you inner joy and happiness.
