a wombat who possesses the power of regeneration. grabbed early in the day by a rabid dingo, he sacrifices two legs while escaping-- scampering away in a bipedal fashion. lying low while the sun is hot overhead, he begins the task, in deep meditation, to regenerate the lost limbs. hours pass. because he has not been practicing his skills on a regular basis, although he knew better, reminding himself now of this error in judgement as he reflected upon the fine training he had received from the wise wombat shaman elder, he had only "gotten' one back by that evening. i'll finish off the other overnight, he reasoned. and, from now on i'll be more diligent in my training, he promised himself.

That's old...and anyone who's read Greek mythology knows that one.
It's a person (to be policitallly correct).
We "walk" on all fours as a baby when we learn to crawl, on two legs when we learn to walk, and on three when we walk with a cane in our old age.
Although, sometimes it's six legs in the evening cause some people need to walk with the four legged walkers when they get old.

Man, duh! Four legs in the morning is when they're a baby crawling on all fours; two legs in the afternoon is when they're an adult and three legs in the evening is when they're old with a cane!
