can anyone recommend a x4 agp card for a ageing mobo i am bringing back to life,budget £60($120)
also is there any good sites that sell these type of cards

TridentXP Cyberblade Video Accelerator from TRIDENT MICROSYSTEMS. Ever heard of it! Its cheaper and better than any other nVidia or ATI for 4x mode. Trust me on this. Latest drivers are easily available too.
Its the best.

Get Ati 9550 or Geforce 6200.

They got shader pipelines !!! and I tested them on a 4X AGP board and P-III machine. Works great.

Get a GForce 4 card from ebay. TI4600/4800 would be ok.
Anything better would probably be a waste of money on an oldish machine.

not able to recomend a particular card however go to www.cclcomputers.co.uk for good prices on legacy cards.
