what was the title of the episode where the mom cut her leg on a wagon wire..and she was by herself and it got sooo infected she was about to cut it off,until charle's came home...call me sick, but this was my fav. one growing up!..LOL

Season 2, episode 39 "A Matter of Faith"
Charles and his girls go on a trip, while Caroline stays home. Just before they leave, she gets a scratch on her leg by a rusty wire. At first, everything seems OK. However, as time progresses, she gets weaker and more ill.

A very good episode --but she wasn't going to cut her leg off.Remember the doctor telling Charles (How in the world did Caroline know exactly when to lance it )--Then Charles with a smile & tears in his eyes looked up.
