I liked the first one it was new and everything was on the edge of your seat, now it is just yeah yeah trying to be better than the season before.

Gotta agree with the poster who said the first.
The novelty was what made it special. Even though the physical quality of the production has improved since then, it was the joy of discovery that made "Survivor: Borneo" the standout season. (Also, life seemed much rougher for the castaways, who were genuinely hungry and desperate. Now, it seems like each week brings another food/luxury reward. It just ain't the same!)
The first was also the only "Survivor" season in which ratings increased each and every week of the show's run.

Gotta go with the first season. Nothing will come close to Susan ripping Richard at the final. Loved it!
