It's the Fibonacci sequence where each number is the sum of the prior two terms. F(n) = F(n-1) + F(n-2).

Usually you see the sequence starting with 0, 1 or 1, 1. Then the sequence is:
0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, etc.

Add 13 + 21 so the next number is 34
