I am a Paxil survivor. I am tapering off the drug RIGHT NOW, as after serious research I have discovered how harmful the drug can be, both short and long-term. You should be aware that GlaxoSmith Kline, the makers of this drug, are undergoing several lawsuits right now because of the increased suicidality takers of this drug incur. They have also been found to have lied as to the addictive qualities of this drug. The only way to lose weight and love sex again is to GET OFF OF THIS HORRIBLE DRUG. Many of the members on this forum have had the same problems as you. Weight loss is not possible for some on Paxil, Effexor, or Celexa.

Well, if you must have a drug, find out if there is a substitute. If not decide if you like sex and a healthy body or paxil better.
Maybe he can give you a drug to lose weight and a drug to make you want sex if no other antidepressant will do?

Antidepressants do have a side effect of lessening sex drive. I do not know whether you would be better off on another one, since they work the same. Force yourself to exercise and diet for the weight.

stop with the drugs. If you can't lose weight, exersie and eat less. The boys want someone who is natural, whatever that may be.

degrease by scrubbing in the shower for 15 minutes then spend 7 minutes shaving 3 minutes toweling off 4 minutes moisturizing and 20 minutes blow drying and styling your hair

Tell your doctor, and ask if Zoloft or Prozac are good alternatives for you. One of those might work without the side effects.

Tell your doctor that your gaining to much weight and your worried about your health. Maybe they can give you something for it.

Talk to your doctor. My sister was on that as well, she blew up like a balloon. Perhaps your doctor can give you some other alternatives.
