I have found recently that i've been having really vivid dreams which i remember the next day and about 5 times this month they have come true. I dreamed someone was getting married and found out they had eloped the next day. Anyone else have this happen?

That started happening to me when I was 9, but really began 'acting up' after I turned 14 or 15 (not completely sure which year). I would dream of something occurring (example, my cat passing away from an intestine/stomach problem) and it would happen anywhere to a few days to a few months later (my cat ended up dying because she wasn't eating due to a kidney problem). Sometimes I remember the entire dream, other times I only recall a few details. The strangest one was last summer - I'd dreamed that a guy I hadn't seen or talked to for years was coming to visit at my house, and he had long, shaggy surfer-style hair in the dream. Three days later my brother went out for a walk and ran into the very person a few blocks from our house. They talked for a while, and he came back with my brother to see me. We ended up talking about his hair at one point - he'd cut it very very short. He told me that 3 days before he'd had it long and shaggy, but decided it was time for a change. I was definitely surprised (I never told him about the dream) and will probably never forget the whole experience.

It happens to me all the time. It started when I was about 11. Since then I have had some pretty scary ones come to pass. Only thing is, I either don't figure out what it was trying to show me till I see it in real life OR it happens the next day when I haven't had time to do anything about it. Like when the space shuttle exploded...... I kept dreaming of it and it was fire red, woke me up like three times that night. The next morning.....well we know what happened.

Yes...and it was very scary because some were nightmares. I dreamt that something bad happened with my dad's eye...and guess what, the next day, he got this infection...
Dreamt about a teacher dying her hair...they dyed their hair...
Scary. I also dreamt about getting stuck in an elevator, and then after going out to eat...my family got stuck in the elevator.

I once dreamt an old acquaintance of mine was going to be in a motorbike accident. I thought it was just that, a dream. I waited three days and then saw him again. As he was about to go home on his motorbike, I told him to be careful that he doesn't come off it. He then told me that he had...three days previously.

Most dreams we do not remember unless they concern something of great import to us. I had a dream one time that happened exactly in real life. They call it de ja vue.
