The actual service is not bad, however when you try to contact them by phone, THAT IS A PROBLEM, my dad sat on the phone for 2 1/2 hours trying to get to speak to someone to cancel his subscription

I switched to Tiscali here in Holland last February. Having had 4 other providers, I think the transition to Tiscali went flawlessly. Apart from that, I got a free upgrade to 6 Mb about a month ago.
On the downside: the modem I got stopped working, and even though I'm a network engineer and told them what was wrong, it took about a week before I received a new modem. Their helpdesk is a paid number, and if you are (like me) using Tiscali Telephone services as well they're hard to reach.
But all-in-all, I'm satisfied with Tiscali.

No, tiscali has it problems like any other brodband provider.

I'm with Tiscali, and i think it is good, only 2 probs over 12 months and that was because of BT upgrading the exchange.

i ve heard many complaints on other broadbands rather than BT. my friends are having too many problems with non-BT broadband. so Tiscali might fall under same category. I use BT, no problem at all since past two years.
