What is entailed in caring for a pet cow? How much does it eat? How many acres does one cow need? How long do they live?

We had about a dozen cows wandering around on a 1200 acre
ranch we owned in northern California and they were primarily
pets...Never really got to appreciate what neat animals cows were
until this experience..
We never had to feed, water or take care of them as they were
free to wander around our property which had pleanty of food and
water for them...
The were constantly coming up to the house where we would hand feed them little treats...

Yes I bottle fed her since she was 3 days old. She will only come up to me and I'm the only person that can pet her.
