DO those investment seminars as advertised on TV (eg 4X) really work. Can you make money as an inexperienced day trader?

I sincerely doubt it. Most amateurs lose money at day trading. You really need to know your stuff about the financial markets to day trade. In fact, day trading is closer to gambling than anything else. It certainly isn't investing. In my 20 years of tax experience, I haven't seen anyone come out ahead doing options trading or day trading.

Very very few people make good money at day trading. Your trading fees and short term capital gains eat up all the money.

The problem with those seminars is they usually teach everyone the same techniques. The reality is that the more people that use the same technique the less successful that method will be.

Believe me, if their method was any good they wouldn't be sharing it with you they would be using it for their own money and would be hiding their secret method.

Here's your answer.... if their techniques are so wonderful and make so much money, why aren't they just doing that to make their billions of dollars? They are trying to make money by having seminars... because they can't find a better way to make it!
