I have luggage, walkie-talkies, used lap-top PC's, walkman, books, linens, new shoes, and so forth. Most major charities sell everything donated to them, to bulk purchasers for the cash - -thats how they raise the money- I have good items which could be put to use by individuals and worth more than can be gotten through selling by the pound. Anyone know what org would be able to take these and give items to someone needy? I can drop off. Thank you.

Churches, women's shelters, homeless shelters and places helping the mentally challenged would all love to have those kinds of goods. Social services would love the luggage and could pass the word about some clothes for the foster kids in their system. There are also some charities that help find people jobs or help during pregnancies; they could probably use some of those things too. See if there are charity sections in the phone book and ask about pointers. Good luck - you have an awesome idea!

advertise in the paper a "give away" or just go to some of the poor neighborhoods and stop and talk to people and ask if they could use any of the stuff. I would suggest you stand outside a soup kitchen, but most of those people are completely homeless and would have no room for the such as linens, laptops, and such, though I'm sure they could use the shoes....Hats off to you...you are doing a WONDERFUL thing ♥.

each and all of the stuff that grew to become into given as presents, weren't presents for you or your fiancee, they have been presents on your toddler. i could say chop up each and all of the assets you desire to do away with and sell 0.5 and donate the different 0.5. for the reason which you form of reported money is an argument, sell the assets you already know for a fact you will get a powerful value for, like the swing or bassinet. i could donate each and all of the garments, receiving blankets, and different issues you will possibly not use anymore. i could additionally donate the commute bassinet to a females's look after, because of fact it is better than possibly(regrettably) new mothers will bypass there in time of want. this way the two you and your fiancee could have some settlement on what to do with each and all of the stuff.
