Yep, we had Dodge-ball as part of phys-ed since elementary school. We loved it so much at our school, that we played it at our recess. In Middle School (secondary ed?) we upped the ante, with only the boys playing, called it "Murder Ball" and there were almost no rules. Head shots, multiple balls, even used basketballs from time to time. Ah, good times.

my sports teachers said i could write a book 1001 reasons why i can't do PE!..I got out of it once because of a broken finger nail and in the end i just got my doctor to write a letter saying it made my chest hurt too much to run around!..(I am quite large chested)..only sports i ever had to do was riding my bike or swimming which i had to go stright home after for the pain!

1. tell them that im not feeling well due to the time of the month (works well with male teachers)
2. Say that you are tired (works not so well)
3. Fake an injury
4. Forget my kit
5. Leave my locker key at home

yeah I did sometimes

I even wrote a fake letter from my mum when actually I wrote it

and the p.e teacher goes well she was a one day staff becasue the real one was away off, and I gave it to her, and she said to my face , you didnt write this , but I said no, my mum did write it , and all she said was she was gonna give it ,too the pe teacher when she comes back, I got worried like oh no im in big trouble, but I wasnt she didnt even know I think maybe she forgot to tell her, any way that was agesss ago , and I think back what the fuss was all about

I used to say I was menstruating.

But then, years later, I discovered it was only females who did that. Oops! I thought the teachers used to look at me funny.....

...... well how was I to know? They should have called it WOMENstruating to stop the ambiguity........
