Sometimes life doesn't go the way you wish. Tell her move on, take care of herself and her child that's on the way. I don't want to be judgemental, but this is why you wait until you're married to have children. That way you know 100% the father of that child wants a life with you and your children. It's better he left and didn't stay to 'do the right thing' because if it's not what he wanted to have this baby, he would have made her life h*ll and the childs as well. Tell her to lean on her family and friends for mental support, but she'll make it.

It depends on if the baby will be better off without him. If he is a exrteme loser I say she should go to a lawyer and have him draft something that gets the guy off the hook. This way she doesnt have to worry about him coming into the picture. Now if the guy has a steady job and all of that go to a lawyer again and start working on Child Support. Just remeber either way there is going to be a lot of heartache.

I've been in a situation like this. So...here's my advice to you for her:
Be her friend 'cause she's going to need a shoulder to cry on!
Tell her to raise her child in all the ways that are proper and good for the child; it will be hard but the results are well worth it!
Tell her to NEVER lose confidence in herself and in her ability to live her life to the fullest!
Tell her that she will make herself miserable trying to get the baby's daddy to love her; it may never happen!
Tell her to move on with her life and let the baby's daddy go his own way; if it's meant to be, he'll come back...if not...then LET HIM GO!
Tell her that if he comes back, she should not let him 'sh*t' on her again...'cause she's better than that!
Tell her that if he comes back, let him find her to be a whole and emotionally complete woman...a survivor!

If he wants nothing to do with her or the baby I think she should go on by herself and raise the child.
