11 theres a story that goes with this one day I missed school because of a dentist appointment and the teacher had said not to wear costumes to school and i ended up being the only kid in the school with one on it ripped during class ever since then i ve never went trick or treating

No age limit as long as you can walk and wear a costume. It's not only for candy, but most of all for "once a year fun".

probably around the same time they stop wanting candy from the easter bunny and stop looking for a gift from santa. Enjoy life....it goes by too fast!
