I have a friend who is a waitress at Hooters. Yes, she is hot. And yes, she does well in terms of making money. She makes a lot more then what I listed below (in terms of average).

The waitresses are paid minimum wage but make most of their money off the tips. Hooters generally gets a large crowd, and with typical tips of 15% - 20% on several food/beverage orders generally draws a good income for the typical Hooters girl.

If you work full time at Hooters, here is an approximate weekly income summary:

40 hours x a minimum wage of $7.00 = $280

An average $2500 worth of food/beverage orders - 15% average for tip to Hooters waitress = 2500 x .15 = $375

$280 + $375 = $655 per week
(note -- tip portion could be a lot larger depending upon the number of customers, order size, restaurant location, clientele type, etc.)

I knew someone at Hooters that made over $500+ a night on a busy Saturday night during March Madness. But she was really stacked, trim body, long brown hair and big eyes, and she knew basketball. She did some local modeling later.

Results may vary.
