I think there's a good chance that anyone will be offended if you make a joke about a group they belong to. I, for example, don't like blond jokes. Depending on where you live, you may not like redneck jokes. So if you don't want to offend anyone, I would suggest remembering the golden rule and not making jokes about others that you wouldn't want made about you. I also think that as long as there are some ignorant white people are out there making racist jokes, some black people are going to make racist jokes right back at them. If you don't like this chain of events, then do your part to stop it by speaking about others respectfully.

Don't listen to buttercup.Do you believe her? Black people always pretend, they don't make jokes about white people or other communities but they do all the time. Actually they are the most "Racist' people. They think they can look down upon others but they feel offended at the same time when others say something about them. What kind of attitude is this? Are we stupid or what? The only excuse they have all the time is "he /she is being racist against them" I think that's the only tool they have got for getting everything in their favour from everyone including Govt. who's been constantly misused by them. The unyielding people.

“It’s now not a racial capture 22 subject interior the path of whites” after which you extremely hold to stereotype each and every person in all us as being closed-minded bullies and idiots. Which, maximum human beings are not, thank you. on no account in my existence have I ever reported some subject racially-inspired interior the path of a black character, Asian character, or possibly a green character, ok? And yet I have been stereotyped as a racist, bully, and supremacy supporter. many times cases by using persons over the internet who've met a pair of white persons and decided to colour us all with the equivalent brush. “the white curse” thank you, so very lots (sarcasm). Why does it have have been given to be a white –curse–? human beings of all distinctive colors and cultures have accomplished particular concerns for the international. in simple terms because of the reality which you seem to have met a pair of risky persons that were white, does now not mean that we’re all like that. you're able to desire to computer screen which you basically’re going to fulfill properly and hazardous persons in existence, in spite of the shown fact which you're easiest alongside with onto the impediment while you do concerns like this. and you for sure aren’t helping by using calling a white character a ‘cracker’. reason guess what? You’re now not helping. You’re growing to be a cruel, mean humorous tale well-known on some subject that the character had not something to do with. you're saying you desire distinction? everybody desires distinction. yet extremely of continuing on the injustice, you're able to desire to help supply up it. Making boring and inconsiderate statements such as you probably did doesn’t help. I’m a white character, and that i don’t have compatibility what you basically defined. think of two cases next time, earlier than portray an finished race with the equivalent super brush. exchange starts off with all human beings, including you.

It depends on who is telling the joke. Cedric the Entertainer can joke about black people, because he is one. Jeff Foxworthy, on the other hand, had best stick to rednecks. The "politically correct" exception is when a white man makes fun of white people by telling a black joke... like George Carlin. Generally, you can tell jokes about your own race. Some minorities get away with it because the majority don't care if they make fun of them... they are the majority.

I think because for many years black people were discriminated against. They have an intense desire to acheive in society where it was once denied them, and consequently jokes regarding their race are not deemed funny. I think in many ways women feel the same way.
However I dont think it's right for black people to make jokes about white people.....any joke that pinpoints race, creed, or sexuality in a demeaning way are unfunny and belittling.
Other than that I think that black people need to actually get over themselves.....because this is the 21st century and racial discrimination is SO last century...and ACTUALLY white people are more discriminated against nowadays.....so yeah, black people get over yourselves and stop living on past wrongs, that really actually had absolutely NOTHING to do with you! You probably weren't even born.

Because if you really think about it, they were treated as slaves back then by the white people, and now most of them are very famous, more black people then white people are famous. And sometimes, white people still think that they are in lead of this country, but guess what you're not, so think again. One day the president will be black or asian or anything else rather than white.

I think this is primarily a question of the way our society is in its historical place on the subject of racism. AS white people we really have no idea what it is like to experience the black world. Although we are not really at fault in many ways for how we view the world from a white viewpoint, I believe, and am only guessing, that as an opressed people, blacks see us as having no business in being able to make fun of them because of their past suffering. As a woman, in many ways, I feel the same way about men and their views of how women feel. They have no concept of our history or where we have come from and where we are today. Nor do a lot of the young women or any of the young people who are profiting from the struggles of movement, civil, women's,etc. that took place before their time and of which they profit from and take for granted today.

That's a big assumption don't you think? "Black people make..." I'm a black person and I'm against any form of racism coming from anybody. I certainly don't make jokes about white people.
