For good gaming the CPU should have been faster.
The ML-34 can do 1800ghz. While the ML-44 would have been the best choice in the range at 2800.
Games will run, but it's gonna be obsolete in a year and half.
Also 1 gig RAM isn't that big deal anymore. Most mainboards can go for 3 gig. That's what I'd do.

First of all broxolm, you must like overcharging people, that would not cost anywhere near $5000 to build. Secondly, I see no reference to a graphics card in that computer, it's also a laptop. Please provide the graphics card model and then we'll be able to tell you.

I didnt note any referrence to a graphics card, which is highly important to gaming. You want one with as much onboard memory as you can afford for graphics rendering purposes.
