of course she is a big flapping meat puppet. she also happens to be in my top 5 people i would like to punch in the throat. She lies every time she opens her mouth and I doubt if she is even aware of it any more.

Well, the Secretary of State basically projects the President's foreign policy agendas. So in that sense, if it meets your definiiton of a puppet, yes. But then the Energy, Transportation, Treasury, Defense, etc etc Secretaries are also puppets.
My personal belief of her is that she is a very smart and confident lady. I have an enormous amount of respect for her. She is also down to earth, which is a plus.
But she can also be tough in eloquent way. Just look at her confrontation with Barbara Boxer during her confirmation hearings.

I know she's the meanest looking woman on the face of the earth. Colin Powell left because he couldn't take Bush/Chaney anymore. Rice took his spot and must like the power. So maybe not puppet but rather a good little soldier that will not question orders no matter how inane.

I agree. She has to agree with the President's foreign policy. She's very smart though and helped Bush learn about foreign policy before he became a pres.

she's just like colin powell except she knows that she's deceiving the public and seems to agree with the plan. powell at least had the guts to get out when he realized he was being made a fool of.

1)Trained in classical music from the age 4, and is considered to be one of the finest piano players in the world?
2)Graudated with honors from several universites?
3)Nobody has really looked at her color EXCEPT you!
She's an absolutely brilliant woman, highly charming and likeable- what is there about this woman NOT to like?
