It's a good Idea bringing back ECW (Gives the wrestling busines and fans more variety) However right now it's not being used properly. They nee to give Paul Heyman and Tommy Dreamer more control and stop bringing in WWE Talent and instead do what ECW was so known for. Take young fresh talent and make new stars. Right now they're starting that with CM Punk, Mike Knox, Kelly and the Vampire Duo. But they just need to leave the WWE guys out of it. Big Show, Kurt & Test are Enough. I say if there really wanna bring in WWE guy to ECW that makes sense being there then bring in Rey Mysterio since thats where Rey got his start in the first place.

Right now, I believe that they are trying to distinguish an identity for themselves. The reason why ECW is on the air is due to the fact that the WWE has too many people on their roster and instead of having these wrestlers being paid to train, they might as well put them on a show and expose them. From what I am noticing regarding the main events putting the "BIG SLOW" against main eventers of RAW/Smackdown is because I think Paul Heyman thinks the Big Show will not be able to take the pain from being put through tables with barbed wire, and all the other extreme things that were done in the past. Yes, most of his fights are extreme rules but there isn't much too extreme about it.

It's just another way for WWE to make money. ECW is not what it used to be, its really sad. WWE superstars will not be on ECW much longer, they are only there to make it so more people watched the show when it first started out. I don't expect them to be going to ECW many more times.

ok they are using ECW to bring in more money. Alot of people watched one night stand in 2005 when they brought them back. NOw it is extreme! tommy dreamer got thrown onto barbed wire tables ad sandman hits ppl with kendo stix and not all the main events include wwe superstars they ALL do bcuz ecw is a part of the wwe!

did you not see the tag team match that opened the show last tuesday , that was pretty "extreme" and of course it is owed by wwe and they are cross promoting to get the word out . There are plenty of extreme matches taking place in ecw

Its better than TNA. It sometimes gets better ratings than SD! This last weeks episode sucked!!!!!! Batista and Big Show are the crappiest wrestlers ever. Knox and Test act too much. I wanted to see Knox get thrown in the Barb Wire. CM Punk had a good debut. He was probably the most over wreslter in the HammerStein Ballroom.

I do agree with you, bringing back ECW was not necessary, they should keep up with only RAW and SD! like it used to be with a much better quality show.
