I had the same problem for thirteen years, and I cried and cried because I couldn't have a baby. I even told my husband it looked like I couldn't have children, and I didn't want to cheat him out of that chance, so he could marry someone else. He said absolutely not.
I went to a fertility doctor, and she told me the reason I couldn't concieve was because I was overweight. I didn't get offended, I just listened to what she told me. She said that estrogen's stored in fat. The more fat you have, the harder it is to get pregnant, because you'll have less estrogen in your blood. She told me that was why I couldn't conceive, and if I wanted her to put me on fertility drugs, I'd have to lose weight, or I'd risk becoming diabetic.
So I lost almost 50 pounds, and guess what? I got pregnant WITHOUT fertility drugs. I don't know if you're overweight. Maybe you're not, but I know that this has happened numerous times with women I know who've lost a little. They get pregnant right away, even if it's as little as 20 pounds sometimes. It balances out your hormones.
I now have a beautiful 1 year old son, who's the light of my life. My husband and I love him so much, and are both so glad I listened to my doctor.

I don't have any personal experience with this, but a friend of mine and her husband had tried for years to have children. Finally they did in vitro fertilization and had triplets! After this, she didn't try to prevent pregnancy or use birth control because she figured she couldn't get pregnant. Then, four years later, surprise!! She was pregnant again.
There can be so many reasons why you aren't conceiving. If you are concerned, you need to talk to your doctor some more. They probably will not do much, however, unless you are really trying to get pregnant.

The more you stress out about having a baby the less of a chance you will become pregnant. it is true, because when you stress your body relaeses some type of hormone into your body and that isn't good for baby, so it is harder to conceive. I was with my boyfriend for almost 6 years and didn't take birth control or use condoms and then all of a sudden I became pregnant! then we broke up and i was with my current boyfriend for 2 years and nothing, but then all of a sudden we had our daughter 1 1/2 years ago. so everybody is different, but talk to your doctor, you might do invitro

my mom! she was trying to be pregnant for a long period of time, finally the docs said she would never be pregnant. and then she became pregnant with ME. And 10 years later she was pregnant again. Just keep trying, I know its easy to say but don't stress yourself into this. As more you want it as less is the chance (at least thats what many people think.)

It is possible that he has a low srerm count or your eggs aren't taking to his sperm. there could be a number of reasons why you haven't gotten pregnant. Maybe you do need to consult a doctor to see if it is you or him,
