I believe that Michael Jackson is living proof that the American Dream is real- where else do you know of that a poor, black boy can grow up to be a rich, middle aged white woman?

For those of you who think Mr Jackson has a diease? Both Oprah and Queen Latifa have had experts come on their shows and discounted it.

I did like MJ back in the 1980's- However, anyone who has been arrested and sued as often as he has for the same kind of charges is stastically guilty.

Interesting to note that 2 of the Jurrior who said "not guilty" said they voted "not guilty" so they could write their memoirs and make money

Michael Jackson, for better and worse, is an American Dream. The ideal... no.

Michael Jackson was born and raised in the hoods of Gary Indiana. God bless his parents, a Jehovas Witness maniac and a general crazy maniac, raising 10 children in a small 2 bedroom shack on 2300 Jackson St.

Within 10 years, Michael and his brothers catapulted to showbiz stardom singing songs that we still listen to today. (I Want You Back & ABC).

Fast-forward 25 years, after countless albums and #1 songs, an entire culture chanting your songs, dancing the moonwalk, and drinking pepsi... Michael falls from grace after a child-molestation allegation. His career drops out of control, everything in his life is full of controversy.

10 years later, Michael gets a second child-molestation allegation and it is all over with. The utter of Michael Jackson sends people into an uproar.

Minus his recent legal problems... Michael Jackson has made millions of dollars, treated like royalty, became a house-hold name, music and songs withstanding the test of time... that is the American Dream. A poor black boy from the streets into a self-made billionaire. You add his particular American Dream and it doesn't become ideal.

Let's be honest... he does look like a women, but all of the Jackson children take their mother's facial features. Michael has made several attempts to make himself masculine looking (e.g. the clef in his chin, the sunken in cheeks).

So again, Michael Jackson is an American Dream, but not its ideal.

The world has lost a true and rare star in the form of Michael Jackson. Never has there been such an amazing talent as him. His talent and fan base has been compared to that of The Beatles and Elvis, but i think its fair to say that he is a legend much bigger than any other band or artist. His songs were truly influential to the music world and set a standard so high that nothing since has really compared. There has been no other artist who has achieved such dizzy heights as Jackson. For me, Michael Jackson inspired me with his dancing skill and his songs. There isn't a song of his that i don't love. I know most of the words to his songs, and could watch his dancing for hours on end. Now i wasn't some super fan, but i believe he was a true idol and i don't think the world will see such a talent ever again. I feel he was misunderstood and his quirky (and sometimes a little off the wall) ways were taken completely the wrong way by the world. It saddens me that the world is such a judgemental and harsh place, and i wish he could have seen how many loyal and loving fans he had. RIP Michael Jackson.

You shouldn't make jokes about someone having a genetic disease (Vitiligo) that they can't help!! How would you like it if you had some disfiguring disease and it was a national joke??

♥♥We Love You Michael!!!!♥♥

That's pretty funny. To me he's more of the "American Nightmare", how many people do you know who can molest little boys and get away with it?

Funny, but the question itself scared me. That's ok, the subject of the question has scarred me, so it all balances out in the end.
