There countries in Africa where people believe that it's good to circumcise girls. They believe that girls would not have the need or desire to have sex. They will stay that way until they get married.
And sex would never be something they enjoy.............. What do u think?

Its a very cruel inhuman practice,that is well rooted in some cultures,there are some that have immigrated to the USA and other country's and still practice this vile deforming act. The mother holds the girl child down as the person that has the designation as the cuter does the cutting all without any antiseptics or pain killers.Its a lot different than snipping a boy at birth.most girls are done this too at 13 I think I read .It is included in the women's human rights campaign as being one of the worse violations .

I just read a book about this by a supermodel Waris Derie. She had this done as a young girl and when she escaped to England she realized how horrible this is. Women not only can't enjoy sexual experiences but this is very painful. She explained how it was done with a sharp stone and she was left under a tree to bleed. She either made it or not. Luckily she did but the story of Desert Flower is very powerful. I think we should do more to ban this practice. It's totally immoral.

I think female circumcision is yet another sick way to make men feel Superior by taking away a women's right to enjoy sex. It is just making her into a baby machine. It is mutilation that is often done with out proper anesthetics and sometimes is just preformed with a sharp rock! Many girls die from shock or infection. I don't think it is any different then castrating young boys.

It is a barbaric painful procedure. The UN opposes it because it is so cruel. You need to do some research before you post a favorable view of that horrible practice here.

I think it is a disgusting abusive practice. Those girls not only will never enjoy sex, they will feel intense pain every time they have sex. Only a woman-hating culture would do this.

Wel, i believe this thought is still prevailing in the undeveloped regions of the world...
here the world is a muchmore male dominated world...women is considered the weaker sex...cant help but it true..
in these places SEX or THOUGHT ABT SEX BEFORE MARRAIGE is considered a crime for gals

Everybody who agrees with that should be circumcised with old dull blades and without pain blocker, just like many of those African girls!

I think they are very wrong in their beliefs. Human females are the only creatures in the world (that I know of) that have one body part whose only purpose is for sexual pleasure.
They are taking away these girls' ability to experience something they were meant to experience....it's barbaric.

I think that is extremely wrong and barbaric to do that to little girls. i think it is an attempt to destroy the woman, so that inside she feels so sad that she lets a man run over her. it is basically men trying to control woman by mutalting their bodies. some of the woman are brainwashed and/or scared so they continue to let this be done to their daughters. it is horrible.
