If everyone, and I mean everyone thought that the Earth was flat, would that make it a fact or still an opinion?

Even if every single person in the world liked red the best, it would still not be a fact. Even though everyone agrees, it is still the world's opinion. For example, if everyone thought that the world is flat, it would still be an opinion because it has been proven that it is not flat. Therefore, because red hasn't been proven to be the best color other than everyone's opinion, it is not a fact. I hope this helps.
EDIT: I didn't realize someone else used the Earth being flat until I posted it, but I guess that means that it really is the best example.

It would be an opinion that everyone agreed upon. For clarification: theories by this definition aren't opinions: they're "facts" that have yet to be proven / agreed upon. Because you have the value in the statement though of "best", it will always be an opinion. The FACT would be that "Everyone agrees that red is the best color." And not "Red is the best color."

Opinion. A fact would be that blood is red. An opinion is always an opinion. You should worry yourself with more important questions! No offense, but what about abused children, or where you're going to spend eternity? Or just basic nutrition? Things that really make a difference here on earth.

If everyone THOUGHT red was the best color, it would still be an opinion. If red WAS the best color, regardless of what people thought, that would be fact.

first of all, your question is IMPOSSIBLE dude.. EVERYONE surely wont think red is the best color but...
just for the sake of answering this weird and clearly impossible question, if and only if everyone .. i mean each and everyone in the planet thought red is the best color , then it becomes a FACT..
you see, opinion varies..depends on a person's perspective.. a FACT is a fact.. something that CANT be changed.. a fact is something which people think is true and no one , not a single soul can contradict it.. its firm , solid .. its something everyone thinks is TRUE..

If 2 or more people believe something it will be a fact. Think about it. Facts and opinions are a matter of perception. We are all tought to believe many "facts" which can be disproven. The way to manipulate this knowledge is to no longer sort info into the fact or opinion categories and to analyze all info more thoroughly. There is no way to determine whether any information is actually true.
