Yep it sure is, depending on how old you are that is if your like a teen or something it seems normal to go to a McDonald's on a first date, cause well your teenagers and lets face it teens are broke as hell, but its ghetto if you an ADULT with a job it shows that the person is cheap and cheap especially on a first date is definitely not a good thing.

I mean it depends....If you're going out on a 'date' with your current boyfriend and you know he's strapped for cash would mickey d's be that bad ? or what if mickey d's is what YOU want ? A quarter pounder w/cheese and 2 apple pies??? mmmmm yummy!

lol but if it's a first date, well that's just cheap and like one guy said, he really doesn't like you.

or maybe that's all he can afford...or maybe he can take you to taco bell lol .

but in regards to it being "ghetto" there are MC Donald's in every city from the ghetto to the sub burbs so I'd call it plain ole Trifling.

If you like the one your with, what does it matter? Why is it that some woman have to have the star treatment when they go out on dates? Maybe he is a simple kind of guy. Maybe he didn't feel like you needed to be impressed by him and would accept him for the way he is. Apparently it doesn't sound like it though. And that is sad, he may be a really decent guy compared to a jerk who would take you too an expensive restaurant and then expect something in return. Maybe re-evaluate your evening with him and then make the decision if you think it was too low for your standards...

i guess it depends on how close you and the date are and if maybe there is a special meaning behind the fast food joint. On a date all that matters is talk and company not whether your eating at a 5 star restaurant or at a simple fast food place...and common you know you wanna order two apples pies for 1 Dollar

I happen to like McDonald's and hate fancy restaurants - I would be happy with McDonald's.

I don't think so, unless your date has the money to go to expensive places. Their food is tasty if not nutritious and very cheap. Maybe you could spend the money you save on the food to do something special on your date.

Check out the guy to girl ratio on the answers! Sounds like they've all been through this experience.

I think it's sweet and romantic.

I don't know about "ghetto" but it is a cheap date.

However, maybe that's all the guy can afford...

Who knows?

Yes, it shows one doesn't care...that includes Burger King, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Hardies, Arbys, and other fast food joints.

Good luck!!!
