I would definately read them all. That many answers deserves the time to look for the best answer.
What would you do?

It would depend on the length of the questions. If they're short then i'll probably just go through all of them. If all are really long, i probably wouldn't read them all.

If i need an answer that requires a lot of detail, i would look for a answer that is long and detailed and then pick the best one.

I would read them all. If someone took the time to respond to my question, I owe them the decency of reading it. I would then choose what I think is the best answer as I doubt the general population on here would like to read through that many answers on a question they did not ask.

I'd read them all; getting that many responses to a questions is flattering and just lets you know that people really do care about you or want to help...I would read the responses as they came through and the ones that really interest me I'd write down the answerer's name or response and go back later to help pick a winner...

I would have to read them all and if none of them really stood out then let the public vote.

Depends on the question. If it was, "AUCTION: selling my car" then I would pick best/highest answer. But if it was just a normal questio I would read as many as possible but let people vote.
