If money and technological difficulties were removed - how would you do it?
Just push it.
I know tht is tecnically not possible, but I just removed that difficulty.
seriously,
the only reason we cant move the moon as of today is that it isin't possible technologically. I dont know what you mean "technological difficulty" were removed

The moon is slowly moving away from the earth now..
Want to speed up its departure ?
Lots of negative impact for life on earth if we lose our moon...
Either speed up its orbit around the earth or push it away..
Either way...
Lots of rockets or directed explosions..

A very large asteroid could do it if it approached at the
proper angle. I would not do it if I could, much life depends on the tides, and changing the moon's orbit would alter them.

The moon is gradually slipping into a higher orbit due to tidal friction.

Nowadays, we could only use huge rockets and fire them at the right time while the moon rotates.
Sychronised explosions could do the trick as well.
In the furture, we could bring a black hole in the vicinity, but this is not yet feasible!

It doesn't look too big. Couple of blokes and a white Transit van should do it.
Where do you want it moving to?
