How do you think a Yorkie would act around a baby? I have a Yorkie and he doesn't seem very agressive at all but you never can tell when it comes to dogs. Just wondering if anyone has both and if ya do are they compatible.

They are great together. My Toy Yorkshire Terrier was a little jealous and can understand I had him for 7 years and then here comes this new thing taking up all his time lol. But no once he understood that he was here to stay he chilled out. I have a couple of great pictures with them both laying on the floor and my son trying to pet him. And now since my son is 10 months they get a kick out of following each other around the apartment.

I have a Yorkie and she's never been aggressive to a child. She takes the beatings. One time though to get back to a child who had been very nasty to her over the course of the two weeks he was staying with us, she pooped right next to his sleeping head. So feisty!

I had a dog that was very aggressive towards little kid. He just didn't like them at all. That all changed after i got pregnant and had my own baby, his personality changed. He loves my son and he is very protective of him. He does not let strangers come near him with out our permeation. Dogs know when it comes to their family. You will see, your dog will love your baby. You don't need to worry.
