I prefer multiple choice, because it's always easier for me to at least see the right answer, whether than knowing it. I do a lot better on multiple choice test, because I do better with options. I do however like essay questions, because those get me going!

I think if you are looking for ease-the blank test is probably the best because you can just memorize the answers. However, for brain power I like the multiple choice and for aggravation I believe these instructors who make up 5 multiple choice answers and start writing things like is it a or b or is it b,d and c--or is it d, c and not f--should be shot before a group of test-crazed students!

depends: something i really know, fill in the blank. If i'm a little iffy about the subject mutiple choice., but then theres the dilemma that all the choices look correct. So I Say fillin the blank...you either know it, or you don't

Multiple choice. Fill in the blank tests are alright if they give you the words to put in the blanks.

Multiple Choice because you can use the process of elimination...I really don't like fill in the blank tests because no process of elimination but I kind of like essay questions because if you get parts of it wrong, you still get points for the part of the question you got right

Depends if there is negative marking on the MCQ!
I sat a True?False exam in college. I got bored with topic, so answered with a coin ie. tails=true, heads=false!
The paper was negatively marked.
I got minus 27% (dont recommend that to anyone!)
At least answer there in MCQ, which can jog the memory, so if its not negatively marked for wrong answer, it is probably a little easier!
With fill in the blanks, if you dont know it just remains blank!

i like multiple choice because it gives you the answer to the question, and yet at the same time i like fill in the blank because it makes me think, and it lets me show what i know, and how i percieve things.

Fill-in-the-blank b/c I second-guess myself too much w/ muliple choice and I take less time to think about my answer b/c of the answer choices.
