Since I`m not interested in spending a small fortune in order to have a company make them for me.I just wonder have I easily can make tags myself in order to put a signature to my sewed work.
I just have a laptop and very little knowledge about graphic design , and a plain printer. All I know is the name I use on my work and the font I want. I would prefer a black sewed in label with white writing.
Can anyone help?

I use printable iron on transfers on ribbon, or sometimes just iron it directly into the garment, like a tagless t-shirt.

I sew my own purses and I do the same thing. My way is not the most professional way of sewing a tag into a article of clothing ensuring it's my piece but it's gets the job down. Get a piece of rubber stick tape from Walmart. You can either use your sewing machine to manually stick your name into the tape or your can write it yourself. Before you finish up one side of the article stick one side of the tape under the fabric as well. Sew as normal. And your name on the tag will be sewn into the fabric. Ensuring it's your piece and no one elses. Confusing, yes I'm sorry but I hope this helps.
