No, it's not a sin...it's natural and feels good and doesn't hurt anyone unless you become obsessed with it and spend all day doing it. I think that what's sinful is telling people that something harmless and natural is a sin...that kind of lying and making people feel guilty about nothing when there are really big problems in the world is the sin.

it's not a sin to make love, why would it be wrong to masturbate? I'd say it's exactly the opposite, especially when you are masturbating to avoid cheating on your partner (when you are apart for a while) or doing other things that are wrong. besides, masturbating helps you get rid of some sexual inhibitions, which in the long run will improve your sexual life and your love life too.

Well thats a tuff one, In the Bible I beleive it does say something about lusting as being sinful, so if you are masturbating and thinking or lusting over osmething then yes I guess its a sin, but damn sometimes you need to masturbate or we might go crazy right.

Theoreticly, the bible says so... but there is more to discuss about that, depends on how u use it... it's better to masturbate than to rape inocent women... but it's not so noble to masturbate when u have a wife/girl friend waiting for u home.
