There is no right numerical age but a certain level of maturity is needed. There are laws that govern when people are legally adults and for good reason. Sex is wonderful, fun and a natural part of life, but to everything there is a season. With sex comes responsibility's..You should be able to take care of yourself financially and in great shape emotionally before you take care of business

No one can really say what the right age is. Now a days girls are feeling the pressure to have sex. The next thing there doing in life is deciding on to keep the baby or not. People must have a full understanding of all the facts before even considering having sex. A full understanding of there body as well. If you don't know your body, how on earth are you going to get pleasure or give pleasure. It is so much better if you wait. Why not enjoy your childhood while you still can.

Parents really do need to talk to their kids about sex, especially if their 12 year old kids are out having sex "a few times".
The "correct" age depends on opinions. In my opinion, 17-18. Sometimes, people younger than that may not be in the right mind frame to make such a decision.
The idea of kids having sex as young as 12 disturbs me....

There is no correct age, well in today's society any-way lol..
I think it's honestly the right age, when you feel 100% comfortable and committed enough into a relationship to lose your virginity.. Some people may want to wait untill there married or whatever.. Also, There are a vast ammount of countries that have kinda like rules about having sex for the first time.. But there are legal ages, which i spose are like guideline's, But still it's up to the individual ;-)

There isn't a right age. There is a wrong age though, 12 is too young. Some people mature faster than others. I guess a good age is 16 or better yet wait until marriage, it's the best way to avoid early pregnancy and std's.

There is no correct age!
You need a few things first - like a man. You might find him at 12 or maybe 21. It doesn't matter. You also have to want it yourself. Practice safe sex when/if you do go for it!

sex isn't always about marriage as some of these answerers would want you to believe. it's about connecting with another human being. that means waiting until you are MATURE enough for all that comes along with that. Although at 12 parts may function in that capacity, and have the knowledge, 12 is still a child.

there is no such thing as correct age, if i ever get married i would prefer the girl to be virgin, but i know that is a harde thing now a days. Tough i still think there is no age, it is the time when you feel it, having sex at 12 i dont think anyone would find it nice, you are to young, you are burning stages of yuor life, what would you do when you are 20.
