Recently, I was given an alternative health "recipe" that simply put apple cider vinegar, honey, and garlic together. It could be used as a salad dressing, but OH!.. What a putrid smell!! I've always had a problem with both the taste and smell of vinegar, but the medicinal benefits of it are extremely important, for the treatment of a wide variety of medical conditions. If anyone out there has a simple way to cover up, or eradicate both the putrid smell and taste, without neutralizing the nutritional benefit, it sure would be appreciated! This is the "miracle home remedy" that has been seen circulating in alternative health areas, in recent years, but if you can't get it past your nose, then it won't do much good!

I would like an opportunity to tell you about a much different "miracle home remedy" that is helping people with a wide variety of health issues including auto-immune deficiencies. This was featured in July's issue of Time magazine as the "superfruit of the century".
I am lactose intolerant, and there is a connection between that and vinegar. Vinegar makes me break out in a sweat and I turn all red from it. Vinegar has some benefits, but very few. The product I speak of is full of phytonutrients, flavenoids and 4 natural polysaccharides and it quickly turns your blood from acidic to alkaline by removing free radicals, acid, inflammation, yeast and bacteria from the blood. It is an adaptogen, therefore very effective for a multitude of disorders as well as prevention of disease.

You make it sound like a life or death situation, relax, it's only vinegar... if you don't like the stuff, then don't use it. Millions of people live perfectly healthy and enriched lives without consuming vast quantities of the stuff...

As for masking the smell & taste, that is a hard one, as vinegar has one of the most pungent flavours of all foodstuffs. Try Balsamic Vinegar. It is considerably more expensive but it has a much sweeter, less 'vinergary' and frutier taste.
