That could be a number of reasons. It could be ear mites possibly. If so, it probably will tend to want to scratch it's ears. If it has earmites, look down inside the ears and you should see a black scab-like substance down in the ears. To treat ear mites, cover the rabbit's eyes and spray a little WD-40 down inside the ears, not too much though. Then let go and allow the rabbit to shake the mites out. Check the rabbit daily and repeat as necessary until they are all gone. The WD-40 works by suffocating the mites. When they suffocate they loosen and the rabbit can shake them out.
What you described could also be the result of an inner ear infection. An inner ear infection requires antibiotics to cure.
Sometimes a rabbit will do that when it has broken its back also.
Lastly, a rabbit sometimes will do that when it is having some sort of muscular problem. It will have trouble standing and its head will kind of bob up and down. Normally this happens to the rabbit when it gets older and it can be prone to certain breeds.
If it's the muscular problem or the inner ear infection, then you need to take it to a veterinarian. Ear mites can be treated at home. If the rabbit has broken its back, then it probably needs to be put to sleep.

It could be flies and the heat, just feeling restless. Check he/she doesn't have fleas or any other mites, Keep the bedding as clean as possible and allow the rabbit as much freedom in a run as you can. Sadly rabbits have a lot of problems with their teeth so check the mouth to see if they have overgrown. You can often see if the teeth have pierced into the mouth which causes discomfort and eventually feeding difficulties. Of course if it gets really bad ask the vet. Hope that might help

For goodness' sake DON'T spray WD40 down your rabbits ears! They have very sensitive skin and this would make it very uncomfortable - plus the chemicals in it might damage the inner ear and cause deafness or balance problems.
Take your bunny to the vet - they will be able to advise what is wrong and SUITABLE treatment. It's worth the cash for the peace of mind, believe me.

He probably has ear mites. You can just call or visit your local vet to pick up some ear mite drops for him without taking him in. They are fairly reasonably priced. If he will let you, pour a little peroxide into his ears - that will help him get some relief until Monday. Good Luck

I'm not sure what this really looks like. It could be a happy movement or a problem with the ear. Go to these websites and try and figure it out.

Could have myximotosis (not sure of spelling), does it appear less scared of things than normal, do its eyes look different.
Its a common disease in rabbits and I dont think you can do anything for it, ask a vet.
I could be wrong, may just be muscle spasms or it could have an itch
try looking at http://www.rguppy.freeserve.co.uk/myxomatosis%20fact%20sheet.htm

It's trying to itch something or clean itself. Don't worry, I doubt there's anything medically wrong with it.
